The development on I-mods new Chat network called IMDC is as fast as never before!
The January 2010 phase is as good as finished and we're right on schedule.
In February, after all the base features and some of the main features have been integrated, we will be posting the first screenshots.
We plan to finish all of the main features and multimessenger capability (ICQ, AIM, MSN, Skype), by summer 2010.
Therefore, we'll reach a new development phase each month. Where we will be concentrating on a group of similar issues and features.
We wanted to wait for the announcement of the Messenger until we reached a certain stage in it's development, so we can be certain to stay on schedule.
And so there it is, the messenger is running and the website has been modified for it, and very soon it all will be integrated.

 I-Mod homepage becomes bilingual |

Hi guys!
If you can read this and you have just activated the german language on your board, please press F5
For you english speaking guys, there is no real change for you, since the forum now recognizes your browser language and the language you choose on the board.
But for the german speaking Users, they will get welcomed in there own language now and the news will be in german too.
no changes for you english speaking guys, since we have allways fully supported the english language =)

 3rd Year, 3rd Style |

Hello guys, today we want to present I-Mod's next style.
Different to the past, we now have it much brighter and cleaner here.
Of course we keep the I-Mod Orange 
It's called I-Mod Imagination Gold
if you don't see any change, you probably have an old style selected. You can change the style in the lower left side of the site.
Theres going to be much more changes in the near future, i.e. the profiles will get a full overwork to be much smarter, cleaner and more attractive and probably some new modules on the homepage.
Update: please press Strg + F5 for the next days you visit the forum, there might be some changes!

The I-Mod Team wishes you a happy new year and celebrates its 3rd Birthday!
3 Years back from now, I-Mod Production was founded to be a place for modder and GalCiv 2 Fans, today, 3 years later, we are becoming much more then that.
In the next week, we are presenting the new style and functions of the site, and a first view of the IMDC Instant Messenger. By end of january we plan to start a firt beta.
We will keep our services for modder & developer and we count on you!

I-Mod Chapter 2: A new face |

Hey I-Modders,
some of you may have encountered a huge silence over the past few months. That's because the I-Mod Development Team has decided to turn it's path into a new direction with a new and very big project.
The past 2 years have shown us that there is hardly any chance of building up a company on modding alone.
It was a nice hobby indeed, but during all this time, I came up with an idea that me and my team have been working on these last few years. We coded this project in silence, to be sure that we could bring it to a point of release without having to postpone the release date all the time.
It is going to be an alternative Instant Multi-messenger with lots of new stuff that other IM's don't have. We are simply making them better, "in our point of view". In retrospect, what an IM should and must have.
The chat is working now, and we will be implementing a few remaining features over the next few months and are expecting to have it released sometime in 2010.
We will start showing you some very cool stuff in early 2010.
You will also recognize many big changes to the Forums over the next few weeks, as we start to morph the site into more of a social network along with a brand new style.
There's definitely a storm coming, so:
